Instructions on how to pit a plum (and other stone fruits):<\/strong><\/h2>\n

  1. Use a pairing knife to cut around the center of the plum all the way into the pit<\/li>\n
  2. Hold on both sides of the cut and twist in two different directions so it separates<\/li>\n
  3. Take the half with the pit and cut around crosswise to the first cut<\/li>\n
  4. Twist the two sides again so it separates<\/li>\n
  5. Now you can just twist the pit to remove it<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
