I USA kallas den vanligast f\u00f6r Spanish omelett, men \u00e4ven Tortilla Espanola eller Spanish tortilla f\u00f6rekommer. Det \u00e4r en r\u00e4tt som till st\u00f6rsta del best\u00e5r av potatis och \u00e4gg. Men \u00e4ven l\u00f6k, olivolja och salt.<\/p>\n<p>L\u00f6k och potatis steks i rikligt med olivolja och blandas sen med vispade \u00e4gg. L\u00e5t det st\u00e5 i 15 min och stek sen i en stekpanna med bra bel\u00e4ggning. Det h\u00e4r \u00e4r viktigt om du ska lyckas! Annars \u00e4r det l\u00e4tt att den fastnar i pannan och du f\u00e5r sv\u00e5rt att v\u00e4nda den. Lossa den fr\u00e5n kanten och anv\u00e4nd en stor tallrik eller fat f\u00f6r att v\u00e4nda s\u00e5 att stekytan hamnar upp\u00e5t p\u00e5 tallriken. L\u00e5t den glida tillbaka i stekpannan och stek s\u00e5 andra sidan ocks\u00e5 f\u00e5r f\u00e4rg. St\u00e4ng av plattan och v\u00e4nta 10 min s\u00e5 blir den perfekt.<\/p>\n<p>Barnen \u00e4lskade den! L\u00e4tt att kombinera med diverse olika tillbeh\u00f6r (t\u00e4nk tapas) och matr\u00e4tter! Prova den g\u00e4rna i samband med Spaniens nationaldag den 12 oktober.<\/p>\n<p>Vi lagade en enkel variant av salsa brava som passade perfekt till.<\/p>\n<p>Men skulle inte r\u00e4kna med denna som en vardagsr\u00e4tt. \u00c4ven om jag sett recept som anger 45 min s\u00e5 \u00e4r det l\u00e5ngt ifr\u00e5n vad som beh\u00f6vs. F\u00f6rst ska l\u00f6k och potatis skalas och sen skivas\/hackas upp. D\u00e4refter stekas i 25 min. L\u00e5ta st\u00e5 i 15 min, sen stekas ca 15 min i stekpannan och sen vila 10 min. Det g\u00e5r ju lite snabbare men \u00e5 andra sidan har man en massa extra olivolja \u00f6ver efter. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r gjorde jag ett recept d\u00e4r du inte beh\u00f6ver spara eller sl\u00e4nga olivoljan. Dock tog det 15 min l\u00e4ngre.<\/p>\n<p>Spansk tortilla \u00e4r v\u00e4ldigt popul\u00e4ra i Spanien. Och den kan varieras i o\u00e4ndlighet; du kan f\u00e5 spenatomelett, omelett med gr\u00f6na b\u00f6ner och potatis, gr\u00f6nsaksomelett. Potatisomeletten \u00e4r dock den mest traditionella i Spanien och ett bra grundrecept d\u00e4r du kan tills\u00e4tta andra ingredienser.
