Recipe: Lilian's moist banana cake

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas should be on the brown side
  • 200 g sugar 200 ml
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g melted butter
  • 125 g flour 250 ml
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 100 g raisins
  • 100 g walnuts

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oven to 175°C (350°F)
  • Mash the bananas completely
  • Take a big bowl and whisk the eggs with sugar until fluffy and then add the butter
  • In a separate bowl mix the dry ingredients (except walnuts and raisins)
  • Pour in half of the dry ingredients in the egg mixture and stir it together
  • Now stir in the mashed bananas before adding the rest of the dry ingredients
  • Finally add the raisins and crushed walnuts
  • Grease and flour your cake pan (we use bundt cake pan for more even cooking)
  • Pour the cake mixture in and bake for 35 min
